  • Why do I need an Event Planner?
Ask yourself this: Do you want to take the picture or be in the picture? Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, retirement party, or any special occasion, your family, friends, or coworkers may want to help, but have they ever done this before? It’s one thing to offer support, but it’s another to manage the logistics, vendors, and details that go into making an event successful. Hiring someone who knows how to plan ensures your event will feel seamless, organized, and stress-free. Instead of worrying about what’s happening behind the scenes, you’ll have the time to truly enjoy the moment and focus on making memories. Let me handle the details while you enjoy the celebration.
  • What’s the difference between an Event Planner and a Wedding Coordinator?
There is so much confusion between these two roles and knowing the difference is vital to your event! An Event Planner is involved from start to finish, working with you to design, organize, and execute every detail of your event. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate gathering, or retirement party, they handle everything from creating a vision, choosing vendors, managing budgets, and setting timelines to making sure the event runs smoothly. They’re your partner in the entire planning process. A Wedding Coordinator, on the other hand, typically steps in closer to the event date—often about a month before. Their primary role is to take what’s already been planned and ensure everything is executed perfectly. They’ll confirm details with vendors, create a day-of timeline, and oversee the logistics so you can focus on enjoying your day without worrying about the details. Simply put, a planner creates the event, and a coordinator makes sure it runs seamlessly. If you want hands-on support throughout the entire process, go for a planner. If you’ve done most of the planning and just need help pulling it all together, a coordinator is a great option.
  • What sets your planning approach apart from others?
I create a roadmap that brings your vision to life, focusing on what you truly want for your event. I’m all about coming up with fresh, unique ideas that no one has ever seen before—something totally different and exciting. I love crafting experiences that are fun, creative, and completely tailored to you. Whether it's an unexpected twist or a personal touch, I make sure every detail is uniquely yours!
  • How can I help bring your vision to life and make your event a true reflection of who you are?
I believe every event should showcase your unique story and style. That's why I take the time to truly understand your vision and what makes your event stand out. Whether it's personalized decor, vibrant colors, or meaningful traditions, I work closely with you to craft an experience that reflects who you are or your business. I also partner with trusted vendors to bring your ideas to life, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly. My goal is to create an event that is authentic, memorable, and a true representation of you.
  • What types of events do you specialize in?
With a background in the nonprofit sector, marketing, and financial institutions, I bring a well-rounded perspective to event planning. I specialize in everything from corporate events and professional conferences to community-focused celebrations, fundraisers, and milestone gatherings. Whether you’re organizing a large-scale gala, parade, a team-building retreat, a retirement party, or a neighborhood event, I have the experience to create something truly meaningful and memorable. My expertise allows me to tailor each event to your unique goals, ensuring a seamless experience for you and your guests.
  • Do you work with specific vendors or can I choose my own?
I primarily work with a trusted list of vendors I’ve developed strong relationships with over the years, ensuring quality and reliability for your event. However, if you have specific vendors in mind that you'd like to work with, I'm more than happy to collaborate and make sure everything aligns with your vision. The goal is to create the best experience, so I'm flexible and open to your preferences!
  • What should we expect during our consultation call with you?
Our first consultation is really about getting to know each other and talking through your vision for the big day or event. Whether we meet in person or virtually, we’ll chat about your story, the style you're going for, and the vibe you want to create. I’ll go over the different planning packages I offer to help you figure out which one works best for you. Expect a laid-back, no-pressure conversation where I’ll answer any questions you have, offer some guidance, and help map out how we can bring your dream wedding to life. It’s also a great chance for you to see if we’re the right fit to work together. I want you to feel comfortable and excited about the whole planning process!
  • How early should I book your services?
It's best to book my services as soon as possible. The earlier we start, the more flexibility we have to secure preferred vendors and ensure every detail is carefully planned. Vendors often book up quickly, and I work with trusted partners I’ve built solid relationships with, so booking early guarantees we can make the most of those connections. Planning ahead sets us up for success!
  • What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness and transparency while upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional service to all our clients. Upon booking our services, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, demonstrating mutual commitment and reserving our resources exclusively for your event. Additionally, a retainer equal to the remaining balance is due 8 weeks before the event day to finalize arrangements. As we allocate significant time, effort, and resources to each event upon booking, we do not offer refunds for cancellations. We appreciate your understanding of our policy, which allows us to maintain the highest standards of service for all our clients. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team.
  • Do you offer payment plans or flexible payment options?
I understand that working with a corporation often involves more structured payment processes, and flexibility may be limited. For businesses that need to submit invoices through accounts payable and deliver a check on the day of the event, I’m happy to accommodate that. Our typical payment schedule includes a 50% retainer to secure your date and begin the planning process, with the retainer due 8 weeks before your event. However, I’m committed to offering flexible payment options and am happy to discuss what will work best for your business during our consultation. My goal is to make the planning process as smooth and stress-free as possible, no matter your payment requirements.
