My love for event planning started long before I even knew it could be a career. As a child, I was captivated by the smallest details—beautiful stationery, embossed invitations, and the magic of bringing people together. I would flip through bridal magazines just to collect free stationery kits, carefully organizing every sample of colored stock and embossed paper. In middle school, I created my own personal stamp and built a confetti collection from my favorite local party store, Sincerely, Yours. Looking back, it’s no surprise that event planning became my passion and profession.  

Over the years, that passion evolved into expertise. As a Marketing Officer at a financial institution, I was responsible for executing large-scale corporate events, including shareholder meetings, corporate retreats, industry networking events, and holiday celebrations. I managed everything from budgeting and logistics to branding and engagement, ensuring that each event was polished, purposeful, and aligned with company goals.  

My career then shifted into the nonprofit sector, where I took on a new challenge—creating outreach initiatives and marketing strategies for vulnerable populations. I developed and executed community engagement events, carefully balancing impact-driven programming with strategic budgeting. Understanding how to make the most of limited resources while maximizing event effectiveness became one of my strongest skills. This experience ultimately led me to establish my own 501(c)(3) nonprofit, where I built a dedicated team to organize fundraising initiatives, community programs, and large-scale events that strengthened connections within the community.  

At Main & Oak, I bring all of this experience together. I believe that the most successful events start with a strong strategic plan, where every detail is carefully considered—from venue selection and vendor coordination to budgeting and guest experience. I thrive on bringing a vision to life, transforming ideas into seamless, well-executed events that leave a lasting impact.
